Milk Tea

When you visit Mongolian family they would offer you some hot drinks and foods. The housewife will give you a cup of milk Tea. As a respectful gesture she offers the tea with her right hand holding the right elbow with her left hand. Guests should receive the cup of tea in the same way, meaning guests and hosts consider each other. You will find milk tea whenever and wherever you want in Mongolia, at fancy restaurants, small cafes and during celebrations. There are few different types of milk tea that contains borts (air dried meat), sheep tail, and rice etc. Generally it depends on which province you are in.
